Extrusion Operator Location: Brigg, North Lincolnshire Pay Rate: £13.91 per hour Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off 2 Days: 6:00am – 6:00pm 2 Nights: 6:00pm – 6:00am Average Hours: 42 per week Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business based in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, who are looking to recruit an Extrusion Operator to join their production team. This role offers an opportunity to work within a structured, safety-focused manufacturing environment, operating extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products in line with production targets and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery safely and efficiently Ensure raw materials are loaded and processed in accordance with production requirements Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and make adjustments where necessary Carry out routine quality checks and accurately record production data Package and label finished products in line with internal and customer requirements Complete production documentation and update relevant systems accurately Monitor machine performance and carry out basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime Report maintenance issues promptly and assist with planned maintenance activities where required Rework non-conforming products in accordance with company procedures Maintain high standards of housekeeping around machinery and work areas Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and production efficiency targets Update Daily Management boards as required Comply with all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures Required Skills and Experience Previous experience operating extrusion machinery or similar manufacturing equipment Strong understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to monitor quality standards and work accurately to specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products Ability to work effectively as part of a team Good communication skills Flexible approach to working shifts and supporting production requirements
