Elevation Recruitment Group is currently partnering with a leading UK manufacturer to recruit an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable environmental professional to take ownership of environmental compliance, management systems, and continual improvement initiatives across a dynamic manufacturing site. Reporting directly to the Head of EHS, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s environmental and energy performance.
This includes:
- Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and regulatory permits.
- Managing environmental and energy management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 50001).
- Conducting environmental monitoring and audits, and supporting all departments in achieving high standards of environmental performance.
- Investigating incidents, reporting to regulatory bodies, and implementing improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Driving environmental awareness and best practice across the site.
This is a key role for someone with a strong compliance background, excellent environmental knowledge, and experience working with regulatory agencies. I’m keen to speak to environmental professionals with the following skillset:
- NEBOSH Environmental Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with ISO 14001 implementation, audits, and internal compliance checks.
- Experience in a manufacturing or HACCP/GMP environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of ISO 50001 (energy management) and sustainability initiatives.
- Experience managing borehole licenses or similar environmental projects.
