Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting a quality-focused manufacturer in Elland as they look to appoint a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, overseeing daily warehouse operations and leading a small team to deliver safe, accurate and on-time dispatch.
Hours of work / Benefits:
- Monday to Thursday (7am to 4pm) and Friday (7am to 1pm)
- 5% bonus
- Enhanced Pension (7% employer pension contribution) and a salary sacrifice scheme are available
- Death in service (2 x salary)
- Onsite parking
The role:
- Take day-to-day responsibility for the warehouse operation, working closely with production, logistics and planning
- Lead and support warehouse operatives, setting daily priorities and maintaining team standards
- Oversee stock control processes to protect inventory accuracy across components, finished goods and packaging
- Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched correctly to meet on-time-in-full targets
- Investigate quality issues and drive corrective actions to prevent repeat problems
- Monitor KPIs and report performance using data to improve results
- Support weekly and periodic planning alongside Logistics, Procurement and Production
- Coordinate servicing and maintenance issues for warehouse equipment
- Enforce health and safety standards and promote a safety-first culture
The person:
- Hands-on warehouse experience within a manufacturing environment
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong communication, coaching and problem-solving skills
- Good working knowledge of factory health and safety requirements
