Elevation Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a manufacturer near Bradford to recruit an Electrical Fitter.
Location: Bradford
Salary: Β£15 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:15
Responsibilities:
- Installation of electrical systems and equipment to engineering specifications
- Wiring in line with regulations and electrical engineering drawings
- Running cables and installing flexible conduit systems
- Termination of control panels, 3-phase motors, VSD units, and control equipment
- Installation and connection of lighting, switches, and low voltage equipment
- Fitting of cable tray, uni strut, and other related mechanical supports
- Ensure safe working practices using appropriate PPE and safety equipment
- Provide guidance, supervision, and skills transfer to apprentices or semi-skilled colleagues
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar electrical role
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications
Desirable Qualifications:
- Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Installation or Fitting
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- MEWP Licence
- Full UK Driving Licence
