Elevation Recruitment are working on behalf of a Doncaster-based manufacturer to recruit an experienced Edgebander Operator to join their team on a permanent night shift basis.

Salary: £36,026 – £38,106

Shift: Nights, Monday to Thursday (40 hours per week)

Location: Doncaster

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business, working within a fast-paced production environment. You’ll be responsible for operating a double-sided edge bander, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and adherence to production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, set, and adjust the double-sided edge bander
  • Monitor production output to ensure quality standards are met
  • Ensure correct adhesion and high-quality finish of materials
  • Carry out routine maintenance, including glue pot servicing
  • Identify and resolve basic machine faults where possible
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet deadlines and targets

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating an edge bander (essential)
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
