Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join our clients site in Plymouth. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure operations not only meet but exceed industry standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and sustainability.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and continually improve QHSE management systems, ensuring full legal compliance and alignment with best practice.
  • Maintain and enhance ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, while developing systems to achieve ISO 45001 status.
  • Act as the primary site contact for regulatory bodies, customers, and audits related to QHSE.
  • Drive initiatives that support the company’s sustainability targets, including CO₂ reduction and environmental reporting.
  • Lead a small, dedicated team of Quality Inspectors, supporting their growth and development.
  • Promote safe working practices, perform risk assessments, and lead incident investigations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing QHSE systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Recognised professional qualification in Quality, Health & Safety, or Environment (CQI, IOSH, IEMA, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills – credible on the shop floor and in the boardroom.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and proactive with a passion for problem-solving and improvement.
