The Role:
As a Conveyancer, you will manage a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, working closely with clients, agents, and solicitors to ensure smooth property transactions. You will have a hands-on role in providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of residential property law, ensuring all legal requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities of the Conveyancer:
- Manage and progress a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold matters.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professionals to provide clear communication and advice.
- Conduct property searches, review contracts, and handle legal documentation.
- Handle enquiries, deal with legal issues, and offer professional guidance throughout the transaction.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and manage client expectations.
Experience and Qualifications of the Conveyancer:
- Licensed Conveyancer – PQE minimum 2 years (CILEx, Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or equivalent).
- Experience in residential conveyancing, with a proven track record of managing your own caseload.
- Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
