Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading FMCG manufacturer in Barnsley who are looking for a Compliance Technologist to join their business in a days only role. Reporting into the Technical Manager, the role will be Monday-Friday and will ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance on site.

This role will maintain desired food safety and quality parameters and ensure compliance with the site’s own HACCP food safety systems, as well as meeting all retailer and legislative requirements. The business offer extensive progression and development opportunities.

Duties & responsibilities include:

  • HACCP Team Member
  • Maintenance of validation and verification records (which comply with site, customer and legislative requirements)
  • Non-conformance log for any deviations with robust action to deal with any events
  • Horizon scanning for new and improved validation / verification techniques Design, Application and Monitoring of Allergen Management and Species Control Systems
  • Formalised GAP Analysis against site, legislative and retailer codes of practice
  • Allergen Matrix and Management Plan, with actions documented and followed up
  • Maintenance of an effective nutritional database
  • Testing schedule aligned to retailer and site requirements
  • Documented evidence of work aligned to the “Centre of Excellence” Continuous Improvement programme Customer Relationships
  • Maintenance of an effective (process-related) KPI system
  • Address any outputs from customer audits / visits / product assessments / process studies
  • RAG Meetings
  • Process Briefings
  • I\’m keen to speak to Candidates with the following skillset:

  • Advanced Food Hygiene (Level 4 or equivalent)
  • Experienced in quality/compliance in FMCG or foods
  • HAACP Level 3 minimum
  • Experiencing of dealing with major retailers
