We are working with a well-established steel manufacturer in Chesterfield to recruit a Maintenance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering function, playing a key role in both hands-on maintenance and team leadership.
- Managing a team of Maintenance Engineers, with plans to expand
- Leading day-to-day maintenance activities across the site
- Ordering spare parts and managing inventory
- Project managing engineering improvements and maintenance initiatives
- Organising statutory inspections and ensuring compliance
- Managing external contractors on-site
- Raising purchase orders and controlling maintenance spend
- Supporting and developing the use of the CMMS system
We are open to Maintenance Supervisors / Maintenance Leaders looking for a step up. Either electrical or mechanical bias considered (electrical preferred, but not essential). Comfortable balancing hands-on engineering with team management.
