Are you a Senior Business Analyst who thrives in a scaling, fast-moving digital environment? Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with a Sheffield-based organisation that has grown its BA function from one person to a team of five in a short space of time and they are now looking for an experienced Senior BA to bring consistency, structure and leadership to the team as it continues to evolve.
This is a newly created role, which means you will have genuine scope to shape how BA practice is defined and delivered going forward.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will:
- Manage a team of three in-house BAs (including a Junior BA) and matrix manage two third-party BAs, acting as the central point of consistency across the function.
- Lead on discovery and alpha phase activity, facilitate workshops and focus groups, and work across complex projects and programmes to translate business problems into clear, evidence-based recommendations.
Skills & Experience required:
- Extensive agile BA experience across the full software development lifecycle, ideally using Scrum.
- Proven experience leading discovery and alpha phase activities.
- A track record of improving or embedding BA practice - whether that’s through mentoring, process improvement, or building consistency across a team.
- Strong people and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Miro (desirable, not essential).
- Open to candidates from any sector - what matters is experience delivering digital services in an agile environment.
