Category Manager – Southport/Hybrid – Competitive Salary + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading supply chain partner to recruit a Category Manager for a major client in Southport.
As Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering procurement strategies across a defined portfolio of suppliers. You will play a vital role in securing best value, strengthening supplier relationships and driving operational improvements.

- Leading strategic sourcing and implementing category strategies
- Negotiating and managing long term contracts and framework agreements
- Driving supplier performance and development initiatives

- Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver commercial goals
- Supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain
Person
- CIPS Qualified or working towards
- Previous experience within a technical industrial role (Manufacturing, Engineering, Marine, Rail, Aerospace etc)
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing ability
- High resilience and the ability to work to demanding deadlines
- Desirable: knowledge of SAP
