Elevation Recruitment Group HR Division are partnered with a leading manufacturer in Castleton as they look to appoint a part-time HR Officer on a permanent basis. Approx 27 hours per week across 3 - 4 days.

The business operates a 4 day working week, with a real focus on Work/Life Balance. This is a standalone role supporting a small manufacturing business, giving you full ownership of the HR function and the opportunity to truly make the role your own whilst reporting directly to the Managing Director. Our client is flexible on working hours, offering the chance to shape the role around what works best for you.
As a HR Officer you will be:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including working with managers to attract, select and onboard new employees, preparing recruitment materials and issuing contracts
- Provide clear HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures and best practice
- Maintain and develop accurate HR records, including personnel files, attendance data and sickness absence monitoring
- Support employee relations activity, advising on disciplinary, grievance, performance management and sickness management processes
- Produce HR reports and statistics for management to support business decisions and workforce planning
- Coordinate learning and development activity, including training needs analysis, training plans and maintaining accurate training records
- Build relationships with local schools and colleges to support apprenticeship and work experience programmes
Our client is looking for a confident HR professional who is comfortable working autonomously and in a standalone role. Previous experience within a manufacturing, logistics, warehouse or similar environments would be beneficial.
