Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer in Sheffield to recruit a Cast Finisher Operative. As a Cast Finish Operative, you will:
- Carry out straightening, buffing, and grinding of parts to achieve required specifications
- Learn and apply different techniques to ensure the production of quality products
- Complete all associated paperwork accurately (production and timekeeping)
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and adhere to all Health Safety procedures
- Support production targets by working as part of a team with a positive and flexible attitude
- Transfer to other areas of production as required to support business needs
You’ll be trained across a variety of specialist skills, including:
- Straightening: Use of hammers, presses, calipers, DTI’s and shadowgraph
- Mount Point Work: Use of grinding guns, linishing belts, cut-off machines and hand blasters
- Final Visual Inspection: Stamping, gauge checks, hardness checks, water tests and light testing
