Pay Rate: £13.91 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off

  • 2 Days: 6:00am – 6:00pm
  • 2 Nights: 6:00pm – 6:00am

Average Hours: 42 per week

Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business based in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, who are looking to recruit a Machine Operator to join their production team. This role offers an opportunity to work within a structured, safety-focused manufacturing environment, operating specialist machinery to meet production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select appropriate film, materials, and consumables in line with job specifications
  • Set up and operate slitting machinery safely and efficiently
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring standards are met
  • Unload, record, and package finished products in accordance with internal and customer requirements
  • Accurately complete production and time-tracking documentation using the Mills system
  • Monitor machinery during operation and carry out basic fault-finding where required
  • Report maintenance issues promptly to reduce downtime and prevent breakdowns
  • Rework non-conforming products where necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the machine and surrounding work area
  • Manage waste appropriately, including emptying bins and maintaining external skips
  • Update Daily Management boards as required
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental procedures

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience operating slitting and/or conversion machinery
  • Strong understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Clear communication skills
