Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be supporting a global speciality insurance provider in Bradford that is looking to recruit a Procurement Officer to support their business on a 6-month temporary basis.
This role will suit someone with advanced Excel skills and a strong analytical flair.
Working Hours / Benefits:
- Flexible hybrid working (work from home Mondays & Fridays)
- 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
- Enhanced annual leave

- Exposure to the full procure to pay process, with genuine variety across mailbox management, invoice queries, supplier onboarding and PO management
Procurement Officer duties:
- Acting as the first point of contact for the procurement shared mailbox, assessing and allocating queries to the right team member
- Investigating and resolving supplier and internal invoice queries, liaising closely with Accounts Payable and maintaining the Invoices on Hold Tracker
- Supporting supplier onboarding, including documentation, data collection and maintaining the Supplier Onboarding Tracker
- Raising Purchase Orders on behalf of internal requesters, including renewal POs and closing obsolete ones
- Providing day-to-day procurement support to internal stakeholders on processes, suppliers and systems
- Assisting with procurement projects and process improvement initiatives as required
The Person:
- Previous experience within a similar Procurement Officer role
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and prioritising a varied workload
- A customer-focused approach, with the confidence to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems such as Oracle or SAP would be an advantage
