Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer in Bradford to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias).

Salary: £38,000 - rising to £40,000 after 6 month probation.

DAYS ONLY + on call rota 1 week in 4.

Benefits:

  • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • 1.5 x overtime

Duties of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer include:

  • Measure the performance of mechanical components, devices and machines
  • Carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across machinery
  • Maintain and modify equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient
  • Monitor and commission plant, machinery and systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime
  • Fault finding
  • Undertake test procedures
  • Provide technical advice
  • Recommend modifications to the production machines
  • Repair, service and maintain equipment
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly

We want to speak with Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers with the following:

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environments
  • Proficient with PLCs
  • Strong fault finding skills

Our client is looking for someone with experience working on large scale production machinery, who can work under pressure and has a high level of technical knowledge with the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problems.
