Elevation Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established business in the Bradford area that is looking to recruit an Accounts & Payroll Assistant on a permanent basis. Reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller, this role involves a 50/50 split between accounts and payroll.
You will take responsibility for:
- Processing end-to-end weekly & monthly payroll for around 400 employees
- Processing starters/leavers
- Monthly payroll journals
- Being the point of contact for all payroll queries
- Managing accounts up to trial balance
- Bank reconciliations, journals and accruals
Systems used are Sage 50 Payroll & MS Excel.
Location: Bradford, BD12 (office based)
Salary: Up to £37,500 DOE
Hours: Full time, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Key responsibilities:
- End-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing for circa 400 employees
- Accruals, Prepayments and bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts up to trial balance
- Managing starters and leavers
- Processing payroll journals
- Acting as the main point of contact for payroll queries
