Senior Procurement Manager – Manchester (Hybrid)

The Role

As Senior Procurement Manager, you will:

• Lead IT and strategic non-IT category management, including sourcing, renewals, and supplier negotiations
• Prepare and manage complex tenders from RFI/RFP/RFQ through to contract award
• Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring performance, resilience, and value for money
• Rationalise the supply chain and reduce duplication of spend
• Deliver procurement savings targets and contribute to the procurement maturity roadmap
• Support the Head of Procurement on priority initiatives and escalations

The Person

We are looking for someone who has:

• Significant experience in senior procurement or category management roles with ownership of material spend
• Proven success in delivering cost savings and value-for-money outcomes
• Expertise in IT procurement and strategic sourcing, including renewals management
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to challenge costs and optimise contract value
• Experience managing supplier performance and implementing governance standards
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive procurement adoption across the business
