Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Welder/Fabricator to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business that values its people and offers stability, long-term progression, and a varied workload within a high-quality engineering environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and welding of mild steel platform chassis components
  • Operate automated plasma and seam welding equipment
  • Use jigs and assembly fixtures to manufacture high-quality repetitive components
  • Carry out MIG welding to company standards
  • TIG welding (desirable but not essential)

Hours & Pay:

Days:

  • Mon–Thurs 07:30–16:30
  • Fri 07:30–13:30

OR Rotating Shifts (with 1.15 shift bonus):

  • Mon–Thurs 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
  • Fri 06:00–11:30 / 11:30–17:00

Annual Earnings: £36,150
Overtime: Paid at premium rates

Experience Required:

  • Experience in fabrication and welding
  • Fully conversant in the MIG welding process
  • Experience using jigs and fixtures in a manufacturing environment
  • TIG welding experience is advantageous but not essential
