Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist engineering company who are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer. The company design, manufacture and install bespoke, turnkey medium to heavy engineering projects. They have an excellent and very diverse order book of projects working across a number of sectors including major projects and the nuclear sector.
This role will be a key position within the design team, to deliver on the electrical design of projects in support of the controls engineering team.
The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for:
- Producing electrical designs using AutoCAD
- Delivering designs from concept to detailed drawings
- Providing technical expertise to support projects and the wider engineering team
- Developing test documentation and working with external manufacturers to ensure quality
- Developing the use of the latest technology and methods in electrical design
The Electrical Design Engineer will need:
- An electrical design background and qualification
- Experience of AutoCAD and cable design software
- Experience of working in a manufacturing technical engineering environment
- Knowledge of working with control panels
- Knowledge of electrical design standards
