Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting one of our reputable clients who are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing and assembly operations within a busy production environment. This role will suit someone with hands-on engineering experience who is comfortable working across production, assembly and project teams and is looking to develop their career within manufacturing engineering.
You will be supported by a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and will contribute to both new product introduction and improvements to existing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design and improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Assist with new product introduction from early concept through to production.
- Work with production, assembly and maintenance teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.
- Support DfM and DfA activities to ensure products are suitable for manufacture and assembly.
- Assist with equipment selection, installation and process trials.
- Help improve existing operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Support basic change control and engineering documentation where required.
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Understanding of assembly and metalworking processes.
- Exposure to CAD in 2D and 3D, AutoCAD or similar.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support engineering projects.
- Practical, problem-solving approach with good communication skills.
- HND, Foundation Degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing or Engineering-related discipline.
