Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be partnered with a leading national in-house manufacturing, logistics & supply chain organisation, in the search and selection of an Associate Director – Supply Chain & Logistic, within their developing and transitioning business services function.Job Title: Associate Director – Supply Chain Location:: Rotherham or Manchester based – National remit Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Director of Supply Chain to join our team in Rotherham or Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain and logistics strategic operations, ensuring efficiency, and optimising processes to meet organisational goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement. An individual with a strong background within senior leadership across both supply chain and logistics strategical development. Key Responsibilities: – Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives. – Manage and optimise end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, production planning, logistics, and distribution strategy. – Lead and mentor a team to ensure high performance and effective collaboration. – Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast demand and manage supply chain risks. – Analyse data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement. – Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners. – Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Skills and Qualifications: – Proven experience in supply chain management or related field. – Strong leadership and team management skills. – Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. – Proficient in supply chain software and tools. – Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. – Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards, within ADR regulated distribution Education: – Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Experience: – Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
