Area Sales Manager – North & Scotland
Circa £40,000 plus company car and 40% bonus
Are you a driven and passionate sales professional with a knack for building strong relationships? Elevation Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading manufacturer who are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team, covering Newcastle to mid-Scotland.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting and developing sales of products across a diverse range of retail sectors.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Driving profitable sales growth and increasing brand awareness.
- Building and maintaining relationships with independent convenience retailers, petrol forecourts, builders’ merchants & DIY centres, garden centres, wholesalers, coal merchants, and more.
- You will have a small account base, but there will be a strong emphasis on acquiring new accounts, so a hunter mentality is crucial to make this role a success!
- Manage your territory as if you\’re running your own business.
- Extensive travel throughout your territory with occasional visits to Head Office in Yorkshire.
Skills & Experience:
- A proven track record of sales success within a similar territory.
- You will be self-motivated and be used to managing your own diary, ensuring excellent time management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication and influencing skills.
- A persistent and tenacious attitude with the drive to develop both existing customers and seek out new business opportunities.
- An organised and structured approach to work with good IT literacy.
- To be considered for this role, you must hold a full UK driving license
