Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Head of Operations to join a specialist engineering organisation based in Derbyshire.

Salary: Up to £85,000

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of a matrix structure including production, technical, engineering, quality and projects
  • Develop processes and capability within the manufacturing teams, processes and facility to deliver against project deadlines and quality requirements
  • Lead and develop the operations team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and increase production capacity
  • Drive operational strategy
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with both short-term and long-term business objectives
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Experience / Qualifications

  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams within a similar, complex manufacturing environment. Specialist machining or project fabrication preferred.
  • A background in a quality regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and engage diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
