An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Finance to join a growing, private equity-backed business based in Leeds. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the UK & Ireland finance function, with additional dotted line oversight of EMEA finance teams. The Role

  • Lead the UK & Ireland finance function, overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, management accounts, and cashflow
  • Manage and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple disciplines
  • Provide guidance and oversight to EMEA finance teams, ensuring consistency and best practice
  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts and KPI reporting
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and governance
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide insight and support strategic decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and systems

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (Financial Controller / Head of Finance)
  • Strong technical expertise across financial and management reporting
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within a multi-entity or international environment is advantageous
