Management Accountant – 6 Month FTC Wakefield area £50,000 – £60,000 We are currently partnered with a fantastic business in the Wakefield area as they look to recruit an experienced Management Accountant into their team on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. As a mentor of a full team the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the team are developing, learning and growing in their role. Key Responsibilities: Balance Sheet Management: Oversee and maintain the integrity of the balance sheet SG&A Analysis Team Mentoring and Support: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the team Banking Operations: Manage relationships with banks and ensure smooth banking transactions Treasury Management: Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management Year-End/Tax/Audit Support: Prepare and respond to year-end, tax, and audit requirements Statutory Bridge Knowledge: Apply expertise in statutory accounting and bridging adjustments VAT Management: Address and resolve current VAT-related issues Month-End Management Accounts: Prepare and review management accounts, including variance analysis What we are looking for: A qualified accountant A solution focused problem solver A self-starter Has the ability to maintain strong working relationships at all levels If you are i…
