Hours: 38 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
  • Friday: 07:00 – 13:00

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse or manufacturing experience who enjoys working within a structured and quality-focused operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production through accurate picking, kitting, stock control, and material handling activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and kit components in line with production requirements
  • Carry out quality checks on parts, quantities, and materials
  • Ensure stock is stored correctly and FIFO processes are followed
  • Maintain accurate stock control and traceability
  • Operate FLT and Reach Trucks safely where authorised
  • Support goods-in, packaging, and despatch activities
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
  • Follow company procedures and health & safety standards at all times
  • Support continuous improvement and problem-solving activities

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • FLT Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence beneficial
  • Willingness to be trained on Fork lift truck is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow work instructions and processes
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work as part of a team
  • Experience using warehouse or ERP systems would be advantageous
