Are you an experienced logistics or warehouse professional who enjoys improving processes, delivering change and making a real operational impact? We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a well-established international organisation seeking a Logistics Project Manager to lead key operational improvement projects across its UK distribution operation. This isn't just another continuous improvement role. It's a genuine succession opportunity, designed for someone with the ambition to progress into senior operational leadership.

Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll lead logistics projects, implement operational improvements and help shape the future direction of the site.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead logistics and operational improvement projects across the site
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and process improvement methodologies
  • Analyse warehouse and distribution performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits
  • Work collaboratively with operational, quality and central business teams
  • Help embed new processes and support employees through operational change

Your First 12 Months

Your first year will provide genuine variety and exposure to high-profile projects, including:

  • Supporting the rollout and embedding of a new SAP platform
  • Standardising warehouse processes and documentation
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting compliance and audit activity
  • Driving operational efficiencies across the site

As you establish yourself, you'll gradually take on additional leadership responsibilities as part of a structured succession plan.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys improving operations whilst building strong working relationships. You'll ideally have:

  • Experience within logistics, warehousing, distribution or supply chain operations
  • Experience delivering operational improvement or business change projects
  • Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement or process mapping techniques
  • Experience implementing new systems or process improvements
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A hands-on approach with a proactive mindset
  • Ambition to develop into a senior operational leadership position
