We are currently recruiting for a Trimming Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Coventry on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term, stable employment with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Trimming and cutting materials including fabric, leather, foam and composite materials
- Spray gluing components using approved adhesives and application techniques
- Working from instructions, patterns and templates
- Carrying out visual quality inspections to ensure standards are met
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workstation
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
- Adhering to health & safety procedures, including PPE and COSHH requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Trimming or upholstery experience preferred but not essential
- Full training provided for candidates with the right attitude
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Willingness to learn and follow processes
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
Health & Safety Requirement
- Candidates must be clean shaven to ensure the correct fit and safe use of a respirator mask when carrying out spray gluing duties
