We are seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Manager to oversee and optimise our transport operations based in Lutterworth. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective fleet management. The successful candidate must be fluent in Mandarin to support communication with international stakeholders, partners, and drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery performance
- Ensure full compliance with UK transport legislation, including Operator Licence requirements and driver hours regulations
- Oversee fleet management, maintenance schedules, and vehicle utilisation
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of drivers and transport staff
- Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data, and implement continuous improvements
- Manage transport budgets, costs, and fuel efficiency initiatives
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational flow
- Act as the primary point of contact for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and partners

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Transport Manager within a logistics or distribution environment
- Valid Transport Manager CPC (essential)

- Experience managing drivers, fleet operations, and transport planning
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
