Shift Patterns: Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 15:00–00:00 | Friday 13:00–19:00. Flexibility to work day shift when required is essential. Days: Monday to Thursday 07:00–16:00 | Friday 07:00–13:00.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting daily production activities, leading a production team, and ensuring targets, quality standards, and health & safety expectations are consistently achieved. This role requires somebody who can lead by example, remain calm under pressure, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a production team to achieve daily production targets
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
  • Support production operations, including machine start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor workflow and production schedules to meet deadlines
  • Handle team-related matters professionally, including performance management where required
  • Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards across the production area
  • Work closely with management to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Support a positive and accountable team culture
  • Open and close the site when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous Team Leader, Supervisor, or management experience within manufacturing or production
  • Strong mechanical understanding and experience working with production machinery
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Calm and professional approach under pressure
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • Hands-on attitude with the ability to support the wider team when needed
  • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of biomass systems or similar production processes would be advantageous
