We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality standards and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet required quality standards, investigating issues when defects arise, and supporting production teams to drive improvements across the operation.

About the Role

This role involves the manual inspection of products to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved. You will be responsible for identifying defects, investigating root causes, and communicating findings effectively to operators and management teams. Alongside inspection duties, you will support reporting processes, analyse quality data, identify trends, and contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out manual inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis
  • Communicate findings clearly with production teams and management
  • Complete daily inspection reports and maintain accurate records
  • Analyse quality data and identify trends or recurring issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and present improvement ideas
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
  • Support the wider production team when required

  • Previous experience within a quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferred
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer literacy, including Excel and report writing
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Motivated, reliable, and punctual attitude
  • Comfortable with manual handling duties as part of the role
  • Positive and proactive approach to teamwork and continuous improvement
