We are recruiting experienced CNC Sliding Head Turners to join a state-of-the-art precision engineering facility producing high-spec, tight tolerance components used within aerospace, medical and advanced manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating Sliding Head CNC lathes
- Machine setup including tooling, fixtures, guide bushes and offsets
- Editing and optimising CNC programs (G-code and/or CAM)
- Producing high precision components to tight tolerances
- First-off inspection and in-process quality checks
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
