Key Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting and operating Sliding Head CNC lathes
  • Machine setup including tooling, fixtures, guide bushes and offsets
  • Editing and optimising CNC programs (G-code and/or CAM)
  • Producing high precision components to tight tolerances
  • First-off inspection and in-process quality checks
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
