We are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a well-established and leading manufacturer supplying high-quality timber products to the building and construction industry for new build housing projects across the UK. This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity offering long-term stability and career progression within a clean, modern, and well-organised manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a small team of 3 operatives, ensuring daily tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Candidates should ideally have experience operating a Combi Lift forklift truck; however, applicants with Counterbalance and Reach forklift experience who are willing to train on Combi Lift will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of 3 operatives
  • Operating a Combi Lift forklift truck safely and efficiently
  • Loading, unloading, and moving timber products within the manufacturing facility
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues across multiple sites via phone and email
  • Sending and responding to relevant internal emails
  • Completing internal paperwork and operational documentation accurately
  • Taking photographic evidence of stock, products, and completed work where required
  • Supporting general warehouse and manufacturing operations
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience within manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments
  • Combi Lift experience preferred
  • Counterbalance and Reach forklift licences considered with willingness to learn Combi Lift
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
  • 40 hours per week
