A great opportunity to work with a fantastic council in London as a Neighbourhood Response Officer on a temporary contract, in a part time role working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
As a Neighbourhood Response Officer you will
- Work collaboratively with other teams, residents groups and external partners; ensuring estates are clean, safe and well maintained.
- Investigate breaches of tenancy, support more vulnerable customers and ensure that anti-social behaviour is addressed and prevented
- Develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers.
- Deliver a programme of regular estate inspections and prioritising fire safety risk assessment follow up work.
- Work with local residents groups to develop local community facilities, activities and events and partners such as safer neighbourhood teams, the voluntary sector and youth services on neighbourhood safety and ASB issues, for ad hoc or routine meetings as appropriate
- Visit customers who may require additional support and assess whether they require ongoing tenancy sustainment.
- Conduct viewings and sign ups or tenancy assignments.
- Attend court to provide witness statements as required
- Conduct evictions and attend stay hearings.
- Checks on property condition as required for the purpose of mutual exchange, during the tenants notice period or planned visits.
You will need to have experience and knowledge of
- Providing good customer service
- Dealing with customers in person
- Working with external partners
- Working to plans and targets
- Ability to exercise good judgement
- Other Requirements
Ability to regularly travel across the region, able to work early evenings and occasional weekends if required.
