We are looking for reliable, compassionate and confident Children’s Support Workers who have previous care experience and are comfortable providing one-to-one support to children and young people. About the Children’s Support Worker role As a Children’s Support Worker, you may support children and young people with needs including: • Autism and learning disabilities • Epilepsy and seizure management • PEG / enteral feeding • Medication support • Personal care • Moving & handling • Behavioural and emotional support • Complex physical health needs • Supporting children within their family home and community Requirements ✅ Previous experience as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant ✅ Previous experience supporting children or young people preferred ✅ Complex care experience highly desirable ✅ Enhanced DBS – Update Service preferred ✅ Right to Work in the UK ✅ Able to provide professional references ✅ Willing to complete required compliance and training ✅ Reliable and able to commit to agreed shifts We would particularly like to hear from Children’s Support Workers with previous experience in complex care, community care, children’s services or one-to-one support.
