We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join a busy Corporate KYC/AML function, providing hands-on leadership and oversight of complex client due diligence activity. This role suits someone with strong presence and credibility, who is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and motivating teams in a regulated professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for corporate KYC and AML reviews
- Act as a senior point of escalation for complex or high-risk matters
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance and business teams
- Ensure KYC/AML processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements
- Drive consistency, quality and continuous improvement across the team’s work
- Support change initiatives and help embed best practice across the function
About You
- Proven experience in Corporate KYC/AML within a legal or professional services environment
- Previous people management or team leadership experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge where appropriate
- A natural “people person” with gravitas and the ability to lead by example
- Highly organised, pragmatic and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
