Property Condition Surveyor - South Wales

We are seeking experienced Stock Condition Surveyors to undertake comprehensive condition surveys of residential properties on behalf of social housing providers. This is an excellent opportunity for self-employed surveyors looking for flexible work with consistent volumes of surveys and competitive rates.

Working independently, you will inspect occupied properties, collecting high-quality asset data using a tablet-based surveying system.

You will be responsible for undertaking detailed surveys of houses and flats, accurately recording property information to support future investment planning and asset management strategies.

Your duties will include:

• Undertaking stock condition surveys to domestic properties including houses and flats.

• Collecting RdSAP data to support EPC assessments.

• Recording component ages, condition and remaining life expectancy.

• Identifying and logging HHSRS hazards and breaches.

• Recording property attributes, dimensions and construction details.

• Capturing photographic evidence where required.

• Using a tablet-based surveying application to complete surveys electronically.

• Ensuring all survey information is accurate, complete and submitted within agreed timescales.

• Maintaining a professional approach when working within occupied homes.

Candidates should have experience of stock condition and RdSAP data collection, or undertaking EPC’s. Working self-employed outside IR35, paid by survey, competitive rates on offer.
