We seek a knowledgeable and experienced Privacy & Data Protection Analyst to join our growing GFPL Privacy Team. This position is critical in ensuring our privacy practices align with evolving global data protection laws, including the GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations. You will collaborate closely with our People (GFPL), Talent Acquisition, and HR teams to support the implementation and management of global privacy program.
The ideal candidate will bring both a strategic mindset and operational expertise to guide stakeholders, mitigate risks, and strengthen privacy compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of global HR privacy program, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new and existing initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze global privacy regulatory developments and advise on necessary compliance actions.
- Maintain detailed records of data processing activities and oversee compliance with data retention requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Talent Acquisition processes are compliant with privacy standards.
- Review AI functionalities within recruitment platforms; work with vendors to document AI usage and update relevant privacy notices.
- Support internal privacy audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential privacy risks.
- Respond to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and manage privacy incidents in a timely and compliant manner.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on privacy matters to HR, Legal, IT, and business leaders.
- Partner with the Global Privacy Teams to ensure consistency and alignment across regions.
- Support regulatory inquiries, audits, and cross-functional privacy projects.
- Deliver engaging privacy awareness training and promote a culture of privacy compliance.
- Ensure privacy-by-design principles are embedded in systems and processes during global expansion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in privacy and data protection, preferably in a multinational environment.
- In-depth understanding of data protection laws and frameworks, including GDPR, CCPA, and other global regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and conduct PIAs, DPIAs, and manage DSARs.
- Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, and CIPT are strongly preferred.
- Strong risk management, compliance, and audit experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
