We are seeking an experienced Legal Operations professional to join a high-performing in-house legal function on an initial 6-month contract (starting immediately). Working closely with the wider Legal Affairs team, you will play a key role in delivering efficient, scalable, and forward-thinking support to a fast-growing business. The team is responsible for contract management, outside counsel oversight, strategic planning, and driving legal operations initiatives. In this position, you will support both day-to-day legal operations activities and key ongoing projects, with a particular focus on Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business and finance teams to support the deal lifecycle, ensuring contracts are executed efficiently and in compliance with internal policies.
- Provide day-to-day administration and support for the CLM system.
- Assist with system management and track enhancement requests within matter management tools.
- Oversee payments and renewals for legal subscriptions.
- Support and help optimise legal technology solutions, including automation tools and AI-driven workflows.
- Contribute to a range of legal operations projects, coordinating with legal and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide operational support to the Privacy Programme on day-to-day activities.
About You
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a Legal Operations role, ideally within a global organisation or large international law firm.
- Strong understanding of legal processes, contract management, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Comfortable working across legal, technical, and business teams, with the ability to align competing priorities.
- Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional projects, ideally across multiple jurisdictions or time zones.
- Able to make sound, risk-based decisions independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
