Therapeutic Team Manager – 1:1 Supported Living Placement
Therapeutic Team Manager – 1:1 Supported Living Placement
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (40 hours per week)
Overview
If you are looking to be part of a service that genuinely transforms lives and puts people at the centre of everything it does, Elevate Supported Living could be your next opportunity.
We are seeking a caring, motivated, and values-driven Therapeutic Team Manager to lead a single, dedicated 1:1 supported living placement. This is a slightly different role to our standard Team Manager positions: rather than overseeing multiple properties, you will provide consistent, hands-on management of one placement and the small staff team supporting it, building a genuinely trusted and stable presence for the person we support.
Whether through professional experience or lived experience, you will bring empathy, reliability, resilience, and a willingness to learn and grow. At Elevate, we don’t just provide support — we create environments where people feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
About Elevate Supported Living
Elevate provides both standard and enhanced therapeutic supported living services for adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
Our approach is person-centred, therapeutic, trauma-informed, and outcomes-focused, supporting individuals to live as independently as possible. We actively promote pathways into education, employment, training, and social enterprise, helping people build meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Everything we do is guided by our Core Values:
Integrity – We do the right thing, even when no one is watching
Inclusion – We respect and celebrate individuality
Accountability – We take ownership and deliver on our commitments
Innovation – We continuously improve and think creatively
Service User Focus – We put the people we support at the heart of every decision
The Role
As Therapeutic Team Manager for this placement, you will take day-to-day ownership of a single, dedicated service, providing stable, consistent leadership rather than moving between multiple properties. Compared with our standard Team Manager role, this position involves less direct, hands-on personal care and a greater focus on management, oversight, and relationship-building.
You will:
Take full day-to-day management responsibility for this 1:1 placement, ensuring support is delivered safely, consistently, and to a high standard
Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to the staff team supporting the individual
Oversee shift coordination, ensuring duties and rotas are clearly organised and consistently covered
Proactively manage staffing gaps, providing cover or arranging additional support where required
Build and maintain a genuine, trusted, and consistent relationship with the person we support, acting as a reliable and stable presence within the placement
Support relief and agency staff to integrate effectively into the placement where used
Promote best practice and consistency in care delivery across the staff team
Support staff development through coaching, guidance, and informal supervision
Provide advice on care planning, risk management, safeguarding, and effective placement management
Liaise with the wider management team, family members, and other professionals involved in the individual’s support
Carry out appraisals and regular supervisions, supporting the team’s performance, wellbeing, and continuous improvement
Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and values-led practice
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
- Weekends off as standard, with no routine evening or weekend on-call requirement
- Some flexibility may occasionally be needed to meet the needs of the placement
