We are currently seeking Japanese-speaking Commercial Lawyers for an exciting interim opportunity supporting a leading financial services / insurance client on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for commercially minded lawyers with strong contract review and negotiation experience who are fluent in Japanese and English and available at short notice.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
- Providing day-to-day legal support to business stakeholders on contractual matters
- Advising on legal and commercial risk in relation to customer and supplier agreements
- Supporting high-volume contract workflows in a fast-paced in-house environment
- Collaborating with international stakeholders, including Japanese-speaking business teams
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with strong commercial contracts experience
- Fluency in Japanese and English (spoken and written) is essential
- Prior in-house or financial services / insurance sector experience preferred
- Comfortable managing a high volume of contracts independently
- Available to start at short notice
