Elevate is recruiting a technically capable Intern - Entity Consulting with a background in computer science, software development, or a related field to support the testing and development of AI‑driven workflows. The internship will initially focus on evaluating and testing APIs across a range of technology solutions, before progressing into the design and build of AI agents that will carry out defined paralegal and corporate administrative tasks. This is an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with emerging AI tools, automation, APIs, and workflow design in a practical commercial setting. This role is a 3‑month assignment.
Intern Responsibilities
- Test and evaluate APIs across a range of third‑party software platforms.
- Document API functionality, authentication methods, limitations, and integration opportunities.
- Build simple proof‑of‑concept integrations between different systems (supported by in‑house connections tool).
- Develop and refine AI agents designed to complete specific paralegal or administrative tasks.
- Help define workflows for tasks such as document review, data extraction, summarisation, compliance checks, onboarding, and case administration.
- Assist with prompt engineering, testing, debugging, and improving agent outputs.
- Create clear documentation for workflows, integrations, and agent logic.
- Work closely with the business to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
Skills for Success
- Studying or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- Comfortable working with APIs, JSON, REST services, and authentication methods such as OAuth.
- Interest in AI agents, automation, legal technology, or business process improvement.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to document findings clearly and communicate technical ideas simply.
- Comfortable working independently and managing tasks across multiple projects.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks.
