We are seeking a Privacy Lawyer to join a leading global organisation on an initial 6-month contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on data privacy and data protection matters across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Draft, review and negotiate privacy-related provisions in commercial agreements, including data processing agreements, vendor contracts and customer-facing terms.
  • Support compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and other international data protection frameworks.
  • Advise stakeholders on privacy risk assessments, data incidents, regulatory enquiries and data governance initiatives.
  • Partner closely with legal, compliance, information security and business teams on privacy-related projects and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with significant experience advising on privacy and data protection matters.
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and broader international privacy regulations.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating privacy-related contractual provisions.
  • Previous in-house experience is preferred.
  • Experience supporting organisations within the financial services sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
