Our customer, a leading international law firm is seeking a Securities Counsel to join its team on a 9–12 month contract role. This role offers strong exposure to equity and debt capital markets transactions, including complex cross-border offerings involving US securities law.
The successful candidate will work closely with a highly regarded capital markets team advising issuers and financial institutions on transactions involving the London Stock Exchange and US markets, with particular involvement in equity offerings directed into the United States.
- Advising on a range of equity and debt capital markets transactions, including cross-border offerings with a US securities law element.
- Acting for underwriting banks and financial institutions on equity transactions targeting US investors.
- Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice tailored to client objectives.
US-qualified, ideally with a JD from a leading US law school.
Background working at a top US or UK law firm.
Strong experience across ECM transactions, ideally including foreign private issuer deals linked to the London Stock Exchange.
