Our customer, a global professional services company is looking to hire multiple Junior Commercial Lawyers for a 6-Month Contract role. This position requires a highly motivated lawyer who can work at pace, efficiently clear volumes of contracts, and provide quality legal support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, renew, extend, and negotiate various commercial contracts, focusing mainly on term extensions with a small proportion of new supply agreements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to software, equipment, and other supplies, as applicable.
- Navigate and manage different playbooks across the jurisdictions, adjusting to varying operational practices.
- Support the team in clearing contract backlog quickly and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to negotiate terms and resolve any contract-related issues.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with experience in commercial contracting.
- Familiarity with drafting and negotiating contracts, particularly in relation to software, equipment, and supply agreements.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent attention to detail, able to work at a fast pace while maintaining high standards.
