Overview
We\’re seeking a commercial lawyer for our customer to provide legal support to business teams during a period of increased transactional volume. This includes advising on high-value contracts, supporting bids, resolving complex contractual issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on complex, high-value commercial transactions
- Provide pragmatic legal guidance across bids, disputes, and governance matters
- Liaise with internal teams and external counsel to manage legal risk and ensure contract compliance
- Contribute to strategic projects and help drive legal process improvements
- Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, offering legal and commercial insight
- Ensure activities comply with regulatory, competition, and internal policy requirements
Experience & Skills
- Qualified lawyer (2+ PQE) with strong commercial contracts experience
- Experience in telecoms/technology sectors and public sector procurement preferred
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Business-minded, pragmatic, and detail-oriented
