Location : Flexible within the UK

Overview

We\’re seeking a commercial lawyer for our customer to provide legal support to business teams during a period of increased transactional volume. This includes advising on high-value contracts, supporting bids, resolving complex contractual issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on complex, high-value commercial transactions
  • Provide pragmatic legal guidance across bids, disputes, and governance matters
  • Liaise with internal teams and external counsel to manage legal risk and ensure contract compliance
  • Contribute to strategic projects and help drive legal process improvements
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, offering legal and commercial insight
  • Ensure activities comply with regulatory, competition, and internal policy requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Qualified lawyer (2+ PQE) with strong commercial contracts experience
  • Experience in telecoms/technology sectors and public sector procurement preferred
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Business-minded, pragmatic, and detail-oriented
