Elevate is looking for experienced Commercial Lawyers with strong UAE legal experience to join upcoming assignments with international organisations and in-house legal teams. This opportunity would suit commercially minded lawyers who have advised on a broad range of commercial contracts and business matters within the UAE and wider Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements
  • Advising business stakeholders on contractual risk and legal issues
  • Supporting procurement, technology, SaaS, service and supplier agreements
  • Providing pragmatic legal advice on day-to-day commercial matters
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams including compliance, procurement and operations
  • Assisting with regional legal matters relating to UAE business operations

Requirements

  • Qualified Lawyer/Solicitor with strong commercial contracts experience
  • Prior legal experience in the UAE is essential
  • Experience working in-house or on secondment is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of commercial and contractual matters within the UAE market
  • Ability to work independently and manage stakeholders effectively
  • Candidates must be based in the UK
  • Arabic language skills would be advantageous but are not essential
