We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Data Privacy (DP) Contractor to support a high-profile automotive client on a short-term engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and hands-on experience with European data privacy regulations, alongside a solid commercial legal background. This is a remote opportunity, offering flexibility while contributing to critical compliance and contractual initiatives.

Contract Type: Temporary (3 Months)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support on European data privacy laws, including GDPR.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure legal and compliance alignment.
  • Support data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and other privacy-related documentation.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of data protection policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and efficient legal support within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified legal professional with demonstrable experience in commercial law and data privacy.
  • Proven expertise in European privacy laws, particularly GDPR.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate complex legal matters clearly.
  • Available to start immediately and commit to a 3-month assignment.
