The Role

As a Therapeutic Adult Support Worker, you will:

  • Deliver person-centred, therapeutic support tailored to individual needs
  • Promote independence by supporting daily living skills (ADLs) such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships that empower service users to make informed choices
  • Support individuals to maintain safe, stable tenancies and positive home environments
  • Enable access to education, employment, and community opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and multi-agency partners
  • Maintain accurate, high-quality records in line with regulatory and organisational standards
  • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism and emotional resilience

Shift Pattern

Full-time (40 hours) or part-time (24 hours) available. Typical shifts include hours between 08:00 – 20:00. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the individuals we support.

About You

  • Have at least 6 months’ recent experience in a relevant setting with direct or transferable skills
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to person-centred and values-based care
  • Be compassionate, reliable, and emotionally aware
  • Show accountability and professionalism in your practice
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and professionals
  • Be adaptable, resilient, and willing to learn and develop
